Not only did Action tanks fulfil my order, they had it ready in 2 weeks and the day they said it would be delivered it arrived at 7:30 am.

“I had ordered a tank from a company in Brisbane in August and it was the end of October and the company had failed to deliver the tank on 4 separate occasions.

Mark the guy who was going to install the tank for me sad that he dealt with a local company who would only take 3 weeks to make the tank I required – so I canceled the order with the Brisbane company and requested a refund.

Not only did Action tanks fulfil my order, they had it ready in 2 weeks and the day they said it would be delivered it arrived at 7:30 am. The delivery man was willing to take the tank down the side and place it in my backyard and even the guys in the dispatch section when I went to look at the colours were friendly and helpful. The tank is a very attractive shape and it is a Mist Green colour which fits in the garden – It looks great and it works well and my garden is appreciating the extra watering and I can have lovely tank water straight into my kitchen sink – with the extra rainwater tap I have installed. No excess water bills for me ever again.

The service was great and the cost the same as the Brisbane company.

I highly recommended Action tanks. Friendly efficient quick service.

I just hope that local companies like Action Tanks survive and those that started up just by importing their tanks from China are the ones that fold.

“I am all for ways of conserving water and using renewable energy, however I have found the tank scheme somewhat useless in that unless a domestic house installs a tank large enough to make a difference when it is dry it is barely worth. Just to give you an idea, I currently have 3 x 24,000 litr rainwater tanks on my property, two that easily sustain the household of four, the third is on our shed and is used for gardens, washing cars etc, however when I had 150m2 of turf layed, this tank only lasted five days of watering according to the turffarms suggestions. The Government requires tanks on the rebate if it is not raining and being topped up. Also, this scheme was due to finish in March 2008 and residents had plenty of notice to get their tanks installed, then the Government decided to extended it. Lucky for those that didn’t get there’s installed in time.

On another matter, the cost of these large tanks (I installed mine about 2 months prior the announcement of the rebate scheme) have gone up by over $700 from what I paid prior to the scheme commencing.

I just hope that local companies like Action Tanks survive and those that started up just by importing their tanks from China are the ones that fold.”
